My two comprehensive exams are done (Moral Psychology &amp; Political Philosophy).  I have also passed the candidacy requirements and am reading with a purpose of producing my thesis.  Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s on the table (books only) right now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Michael Walzer <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4px9bbc\">Thick and Thin<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Michael Walzer <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3I4YfAU\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3I4YfAU\">Arguing About War<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lord Moran <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4mJkLxv\">The Anatomy of Courage<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jeremy Waldron <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3K42HjY\">Dignity, Rank, &amp; Rights<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sun Tzu <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4n9BOtf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4n9BOtf\">The Art of War<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thomas Scanlon <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3I4YfAU\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3I4YfAU\">What we Owe Each Other<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When I see the list in this light it seems quite eclectic.  I think that&#8217;s good.  I hope that it means that I am seeing a unique perspective on what I am reading.  I have really enjoyed Scanlon and Waldron.  They have a refreshingly grounded approach to values and respect that I have not seen elsewhere.
